first day of winter
no snow. a passing, a play, a wake, a funeral, another in the hospital, a missed or forgotten neuro appt for a family member; rescheduled, a long month of family illness, squabbles, slow work, no work, extra work, two to three outfits created, pins and threads on the floor, a chewed up pin cushion, pins denting finger tips, shopping, colored lights, a set of holidays, nestled in between, a wedding.
my feet will be tired, and needed also, a long winter's nap.
It may be winter and year end, but where is the snow?
