Print to Web Colors, Typefaces, Semantics

One of my favorite color websites is: easyRGB . Find tools to change colors to wall paint tints, pantones, hex, Red Green Blue, ... find harmonies, tints, ... find out more about color math.

Today I visited Zeldman's A List Apart and saw this handy reference on the sidebar links for color conversions titled: Pantone to RGB color conversion . The chart also gives a hex value for the listed colors. A very handy set for those of us who may juggle client print and color preferences with web sites and graphics.

Also noticed in the same sidebar: Letterhad Fonts: Rare and Unique Typefaces for Artists.

Pulled out of a huge collection of bookmarks I seem to horde is the Semantic Data Extractor which I found at the W3C. Instead of going into great details, this is a tool that uses XSLT to extract semantics from a web page and displays the results of what it finds. Try popping in the home page of the W3C http://w3.org and try a few others. Producing more semantically rich documents could mean better readability by a variety of devices and possibly better placement via search engine bots?
